What was once a series of text adventure games is set to be resurrected as a browser-based MMO. All the website reveals so far is that players “take up the role of a recently laid-off salesman and part-time loot-gatherer, as he explores the Great Underground Empire” and provides a sign-up form for future updates.

(Not intentionally plugging any particular soda brand – any caffeinated, sugary drink would fulfill the role – but I am plugging Banana Teddy Grahams!)

Yes, it’s an artsy, 30MB, Windows-only game that will take you 5 minutes to play. It’s still worth it.

The game website gives a full explanation of what the game is supposed to represent but I feel that knowing this going in to it took away a lot from my experience playing. I suggest you don’t read it and just hit the “download now” button.
